How Luxo Living reached its goal

It has been a problem that several customers could misuse the same discount code up to several times and for longer periods. Therefore, it was a wish that the function was optimized so that the discount code became more unique. This was done with a personal discount code that was set up with an expiration date and certain other factors such as the expiration date after 30 days, a minimum amount of DKK 200,00 and an exception for already discounted items.

 

When the discount code was ready to be used an active effort was launched so that new leads could make use of it. Therefore, a pop-up was set up that told about a discount code of 10 % that could be used for the first purchase when subscribing to the newsletter. 

 

In just 1 month this led to over 900 new leads of which Luxo Living achieved a conversion rate of as much as 72%. This is partly due to the urgency that prevails with a discount code, which appears with an expiration date and also that an email was sent a few days before the discount code expires to those leads who has not yet used the discount code. This created a need to use the code now and here - otherwise the chance of the good discount would be wasted.

 

Luxo Living therefore achieved the good result by initiating a good interplay between unique discount codes, e-mail broadcasts and pop-ups. And it shows that a good strategy can quickly lead to a very positive return.
